OREANDA-NEWS. On November 07, 2007 Bank TuranAlem JSC (Almaty), shares and bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had spread the press-release in which had announced about start of its re-branding, reported the press-centre of KASE.

According to press-release banks and companies, included to banking conglomerate Bank TuranAlem JSC would be united under single brand BTA. The bank itself would be named as BTA Bank.

"New tasks, stated to banking conglomerate BTA, demanded the appearing of new brand, which will become international, universal and at the same time friendly and innovative. I consider that last brand was successful, and bank is owing to it with reputation we have now on the market. And if brand TuranAlem was developed to have stake on the market of Kazakhstan - which it have now, than new brand BTA have to provide stake of market in international scale", - announced the Chairman of board of the bank roman Solodchenko, whose words are quoted in the message.

"New logotype of BTA reflects the present and innovation of the bank. Pistachio color - is the sincerity, well-being and optimism. Scarlet – power and energy. Form of logotype is not accidental. In series located squares are symbolizing the reliability and stability. Their crossing creates the effect of clarity - one of the key qualities of work of modern bank", - is specified in the message.

By information of the bank, the development of brand of BTA was made by Russian company LMH Consulting, visual identifier (logotype) – Russian company Direct Design.

Re-branding of BTA will be made in several stages. First stage, transitional, will last till the end of year 2007, during which bank will inform about change of previous brand. In year 2008 will start the re-naming and re-visualization of bank and its subsidiary companies.
