OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2007. In January-September 2007, net profit of Port Vanino (Port Vanino OJSC, Khabarovsk region) grew 2.5-fold, year-on-year, to RUR 103.899 million. The company’s proceeds grew by 17%, year-on-year, to RUR 928.445 million. The company’s accounts payable fell from RUR 62.145 million as of January 1, 2007 to RUR 52.585 million as of October 1, 2007.

Vanino Commercial Seaport OJSC is the largest stevedoring company of Khabarovsk region. It provides handling and forwarding services. Cargo is delivered via Vanino to the north-eastern regions of Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, USA and other countries of APR
The length of the port’s berthing line is about 2.5 kilometers. The states own 55% of the company’s shares (73.33% of ordinary shares), 27.3% (21.48% ordinary shares) are under nominal holding of Depositary-Clearing Company CJSC.
