OREANDA-NEWS. Quite recently, at the end of September, we reached a record safety milestone of 3,000,000 man-hours worked LTI free. Now we have got a new reason to feel happy and proud of ourselves. On November 13 we reached the next milestone  - 4,000,000 man-hours LTI free, reported the press-centre of Salym Petroleum.

In other words, we and our contractors have worked nearly 200 days with no harm to people and without lost time incidents (LTI).

I would like to sincerely congratulate SPD employees and our contactor colleagues on this record achievement and say thanks to all for your responsible approach to safety and compliance with the rules and procedures. I am very glad to see that our joint efforts in embedding safe work culture bear fruits.

4,000,000 man-hours LTI free represents a remarkable result, which testifies to the fact that the “goal – zero” is realistic and achievable. We have embarked on the road leading us to that goal and are steadily progressing.

This road is not easy and requires everyday attention, discipline and awareness, and leaves no place for self-satisfaction and complacency. We all should remember that no matter how many days we operate without incidents, every new day starts with zero and we must think and act safety all the time, every time, relentlessly just like we have done the last 200 days.

Again, many thanks to all and let’s move on to the next milestone - 5,000,000 man-hours LTI free!
