OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2007. In October 2007, external assets of the Bank of Lithuania increased by LTL 3,3 billion to form LTL 19,4 billion at the end of the month, while external liabilities decreased by LTL 2,4 million to LTL 1,3 billion, reported the press-centre of Bank of Lithuania.

In October, currency in circulation increased by LTL 113,1 million to LTL 9,0 billion at the end of the month. Meanwhile, resident deposits with the Bank of Lithuania went up by LTL 3,2 billion over one month as a result of transactions to LTL 8,1 billion at the end of the month.

Deposits of other MFIs hiked by LTL 402,5 million, as a result of transactions, to make up LTL 2,8 billion at the end of the month, and central government deposits increased, as a result of transactions, by LTL 2,8 billion to LTL 5,3 billion.
