OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2007. An automated information-measuring system for the commercial accounting of power (AIMS CAP) is planned to be put into operation in the TGC-9 branches in the Perm region at the beginning of 2008, the company's press service reports. The system  is intended for the on-line control and effective implementation of the commercial accounting of generation and consumption of power. This system will allow the "on-line" checking of the power generation, its distribution between consumers and will also raise the effectiveness of TGC-9's work on the wholesale market of power. The AIMS CAP's creation and modernization are mandatory requirements of the Non-profit Partnership (NP) "Trading Network Administrator" (TNA) for the organization's activity on the wholesale market of power.

The AIMS CAP was started at the TGC-9 Perm power stations in 2005. Special works on the up-grading of the measuring complex started in December of 2006.

During the current year the re-equipment was carried out on almost all of the electric power stations in Perm region: the accounting transformers with an increased grade of accuracy were installed during this period. The operational testing of the AIMS CAP is being carried out at the moment. Within its limits, the operation factors of the system are monitored, the system is being upgraded, and the training for the staff is conducted. In the nearest future, it is planned to finish the works on the inspection certification of the system, to register it in the NP TNA and to put it into commercial operation.
