OREANDA-NEWS. On November 22, 2007 Bank TuranAlem JSC (Almaty), securities of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list, had provided KASE with the press-release in which the following is said, reported the press-centre of KASE:

Bank TuranAlem JSC (BTA) had finished the deal for purchasing of control shareholding of Investment export-import bank CJSC (Ineximbank, Kyrgyzstan) from its daughter structure - Temirbank JSC.

This deal, sum of which made more than 20,3 US dollars, was enclosed on November 19, 2007.

Corresponding permissions BTA had received form Agency for financial supervision (AFS) of Kazakhstan and National bank of Kyrgyzstan.

As the result of purchasing of shareholding of Ineximbank CJSC being in privacy of Temirbank JSC, and also considering the realization by Temirbank JSC of its right on Agreement about option with EBRD - Bank TuranAlem JSC had purchased about 71% shares of Kyrgyz bank to its privacy.

For BTA this purchasing is the next step in realization of strategic plans of banking conglomerate for achieving of leading positions on all markets of presence.

"We are planning to strengthen our positions in Kyrgyzstan, concentrating our activities on building of effective business, what will let us to provide the high quality of servicing of our clients", - the chairman of Directors' board of BTA Mukhtar Ablyazov had noted.
