OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2007. Over the ten months of 2007, St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill, Ilim Group, produced 207.4 thousand tonnes of Cartonboard gross, including 179.6 thousand tonnes of market cartonboard, 12.5 thousand tonnes (7.5%) up as compared to the same period of 2006, the company's press service reported.

Output included the following amounts of cartonboard:

- Uncoated board — 23.6 thousand tonnes, 1.1 thousand tonnes (4.8%) up year-over-year;

- Coated board — 41.5 thousand tonnes, 2.2 thousand tonnes (5.5%) up year-over-year;

- Linerboard — 112 thousand tonnes, 14.8 thousand tonnes (15.2%) up year-over-year;

- Testliner output — 2.2 thousand tonnes, 0.2 thousand tonnes (10%) up as compared to January—October last year.

Match box board output amounted to 0.3 thousand tonnes, in line with the production plan.

Over the period, output of printed product went down 3.4 thousand tonnes (15.2%) as compared to the same period of 2006, totaling 18.9 thousand tonnes. The production plan was realigned with the current market situation.

During the first ten months of 2007, output of disposable plates amounted to 64.1 million pcs, 2.6% up as compared to January–October 2006 period.
