Ukraine may take part in a session of the General Council of the World Trade Organization on December 19 to consider its application, first deputy chief of staff of the presidential secretariat Oleksandr Shlapak told journalists, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

According to him, the WTO is waiting for Ukraine's Transportation Ministry's decision on evening tariffs for international carriages for Ukrainian and foreign companies and formalization of promises in export duties after Ukraine joins the WTO.

Ukraine has completed talks with all members of the WTO Working Group and can now shift to direct relations with the EU on creating a free trade area.
