OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2007. Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine, on November 26 downgraded to uaB from uaBB- (uaBB minus) the long-term credit rating assigned to  Investment Company Komfort-Invest LLC and its issue of UAH150m 6-year registered coupon bonds (K-M series), Credit-Rating's press service reported. The outlook on the rating has been revised to stable. Credit-Rating has also suspended the long-term credit rating of uaBB- (uaBB minus)  assigned to company's UAH149m issue of registered housing bonds (A-J series).

An obligor or a debt liability with uaB credit rating is characterized with the LOW creditworthiness as compared to other Ukrainian obligors or debt liabilities. This level of creditworthiness is extremely susceptible to adverse changes in commercial, financial and economic conditions.

In the course of the rating's revision procedure, Credit-Rating took into account the fact that the Issuer has not met its obligations on all series (A-J) of housing bonds, being currently redeemed via repurchasing or exchanging for coupon bonds, not by real estate property as it is stipulated in the issue terms.
