OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2007. Companies of INTER RAO UES Group are through with the 2007-2008 autumn/winter readiness inspections held at all of the Group’s generation and network facilities, the company's press service announced.

The inspections demonstrated that the power plants, electricity and heating networks fully met the targets set for equipment repairs and building up fuel stockpiles. Besides, the inspection procedure included check of control measures designed to ensure compliance with the requirements of secure use of energy equipment, labor protection and fire safety, readiness of the power plants to operate using reserve fuel, and for hydroelectric power plants – the ability to better use water resources and to operate in peak periods.   

As a result of the inspection, Operability Certificates for autumn/winter 2007-2008 were granted to all operating facilities of INTER RAO UES Group. JSC Khramhesi-2, both hydroelectric units of which are currently under repair, didn’t take part in the inspection.
