OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2007. Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky believes it necessary to reduce the number of inspections at companies in order to instill confidence in the state, reported the Official website www.government.by.

Within the frames of the seminar of executives of national and local state administration bodies on November 29 Sergei Sidorsky visited some companies in the Derzhinsk region, including Agrokombinat Derzhinsky and service center Vesta.

The Prime Minister learnt that since the beginning of the year 76 inspections had been conducted at Agrokombinat Derzhinsky and 30 inspections at service center Vesta. According to Sergei Sidorsky, this situation does not promote business development and should be reconsidered.

According to Sergei Sidorsky, one of the main objectives in the small towns is the development of industrial infrastructure. He noted that the small town development programme should be linked to the rural development programme. The Prime Minister paid special attention to the necessity to start up manufactures of building materials in small towns. They should employ cutting-edge technologies hence promoting development of small towns.

Besides, issues on simplification of the tax system in small towns and business crediting were on the agenda of the seminar. For instance, Belagroprombank has been actively working in this direction.
