OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2007. The bond issue of SC Elko Grupa was successfully completed, reported the press-centre of Parex banka.

The issue raised EUR 6 500 000 with a fixed annual coupon of 10% and maturity date of 29 November 2010. The successful offering to local investors was organized by Parex banka, one of the leading providers of investment banking services in the Baltic States and one of the most active organizers of bond issues in the region.

Mr. Egons Mednis, Chairman of the Board, SC Elko Grupa, said: “We are very satisfied with the level of interest received from investors, who have appraised the successful development of our Company in the field of wholesale of computers and its components. It was extremely important for us to raise an additional financing in the last quarter of the year, when the demand for our products is at its highest.”

It was a great honour for us to organize the deal for the biggest company in Latvia. The bonds were obtained mostly by Latvian institutional investors.
