Before the appointment, Komarov was director general of Atomenergomash OJSC (subsidiary of TVEL OJSC).

Biography

Kirill Komarov was born in Leningrad (St.Petersburg) in 1973.

Education

In 1992 he graduated Law College of Ural State Academy of Law. In 1997 he graduated from Ural State Academy of Law. In 2000 he defended a thesis on “State Administration in the Sphere of Economy.” Komarov is PhD in Law.

Career

In 1993–2000 Komarov worked in YuKon CJSC (Yekaterinburg). From July 2000 till June 2005 he worked in RENOVA Group (director for legal issues and project management, first deputy director general, director general for development). He was responsible for projects in the sphere of privatization, corporization, property protection, building of corporate management systems and big holdings.
 
In 2005–2006 Komarov was deputy head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources and was responsible for management of state property, inter-department organizations, coordination of state purchases, information support and research and development projects.

In 2006–2007 Komarov was vice president of TVEL Corporation OJSC.

In Apr 2006 Komarov was appointed as director general of Atomenergomash OJSC. His duty was to consolidate the machine building assets of Russia’s nuclear industry.

Komarov is married.
