OREANDA-NEWS. On December 04, 2007 the Moscow Arbitration Court dismissed the claim of "Europe Plus" CJSC to hold invalid the resolution of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on imposing administrative charges upon the company for breaching the advertising legislation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 15th October 2007 FAS Russia fined "Europe Plus" CJSC 200.000 Rubles for playing in advertisement in a daytime programme (before 10 p.m.) of the "Europe Plus" radio station, using the expression "the "Crystal" Club - the spark of emotions", which breaches Clause 1 Part 2 Article 27 of the Federal Law "On Advertising".

The "Crystal" Club is involved, in particular, in organizing and proving gambling (casino) and is a gambling establishment.

Analysis of the "Crystal" Club advertisement showed that it is aimed at developing and maintaining interest towards the organization which carries out gambling activities.

Рearlier FAS Russia recognized the above advertisement improper and breaching Clause 1 Part 2 Article 27 of the Federal Law "On Advertising", and requested the advertisers - "Europe Plus" CJSC and "Russia Radio - Eurasia" CJSC - to stop violating the advertising legislation.
