OREANDA-NEWS. On December 05, 2007 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), classified the advertisement of "Aeroflot" OJSC on selling plane tickets at the price "from 99 conventional units", played on 7-12 September 2007 by the "Europe Plus" and "Russian Radio" radio stations, as improper and instructed the advertiser - "Aeroflot" OJSC and the advertisement producer - ООО "Ab Inito" Ltd. to stop any further dissemination of the advertisement, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 1st July 2007 entered into force the provisions of the Federal Law "On Advertising", that advertisements of goods or other advertising objects should specify any cost parameters in Rubles, and if necessary give additional specification in foreign currency.

The advertisement of "Aeroflot" OJSC informed about of "Aeroflot" OJSC on selling plane tickets at the price "from 99 conventional units", but failed to specify the airfare in Rubles.

FAS Russia recognized the advertisement improper and breaching Part 7.1 Article 5 of the Federal Law "On Advertising", and issued determinations to the advertiser - "Aeroflot" OJSC and the advertisement producer - ООО "Ab Inito" Ltd. to stop any further dissemination of the advertisement.

Taking into account that the violation occurred due to the fault of the advertisement producer - ООО "Ab Inito" Ltd.", on 3rd December 2007 the company was imposed administrative charges (fine - 40.000 Rubles).
