OREANDA-NEWS. On December 06, 2007 Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov expressed hope that Kashagan-related issues will be resolved in the nearest time, reported the Official website http://en.government.kz.

“You know that we have been holding talks on Kashagan and I hope that there will be a solution to the issue in the nearest time”, Head of the Government said at a meeting with the country’s businessmen.

“I believe that contract stability to be an essential and inviolable element just like right of ownership. But if it’s the investor who violates the contract, the Government has the right to revise it. And if an investor sells its extraction-related business, the state has the right to intervene”, K. Massimov said.
