OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2007. Since November 2007, the ATLANT refrigerators and freezers are fitted with new rear stops. Due to the new stops elongated by 20 mm, the ATLANT refrigerators and freezers have reduced power consumption, reported the press-centre of ATLANT.

The rear stop is a part included in the scope of delivery of a refrigerator. The stop is mounted into the refrigerator's cover and form a clearance between the rear wall of the refrigerator and the wall of the room to ensure the free air circulation that is necessary for the compressor operation.

The new rear stops of the ATLANT refrigerators differ from the previous ones not only in the appearance, but also in the design. They are mounted in a different way: the upper hook end of the stop is inserted into the slot of the refrigerator’s cover and the stop is moved down until the lower hook ends are fixed completely in the cover. The three hook ends ensure the reliable fastening of the stop.

It is necessary to note that the information on the novelty has not reflected in the Operating Manuals of the first lots of the refrigerators and freezers fitted with new stops, because item 1.6 of the Operating Manual states that the manufacturer is entitled to improve the design of the product while keeping its basic technical characteristics invariable. The design of the rear stop is not complex and the most users are able to mount it on their own without additional comment.
