OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2007. The National Electricity Regulation Commission has increased electricity transmission and supply tariffs for the power supply company Service-Invest Ltd. starting 01/01/2008.

The corresponding decision was made by the Commission at a meeting on 29/11/2007.

In particular, NERC increased the company’s electricity transmission by 43.5% when using 1st class voltage electricity transmission lines (35 kW and above) up to UAH 7.55/MWh and by 43.9% when using 2nd class voltage transmission lines (below 35 kV) up to UAH 20.45/MWh.

NERC has also increased the company’s tariff for electricity supplies to large companies (1st group) by 44.6% to UAH 0.81/MWh and by 43.3% for small consumers (2nd group) to UAH 4.04/MWh.

Service-Invest Ltd. is one of the largest electricity supply companies in Ukraine by volume of electricity supplied. The company’s electric networks are located in the Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The length of the networks is over 2 thousand km.

In 2005, the share of the company’s purchases in the wholesale electricity market was 4% (7th among power supply companies), and the share in supplies in the Donetsk region is about 30%.

Service-Invest reduced its profit in the first half of 2007 by 49.14% or UAH 11 205 2000 to UAH 11 594 100 compared to the same period of 2006.
