OREANDA-NEWS. On December 10, 2007 OAO “Aeroflot” received the seventh airliner A321 named M.Shagal. The airplane is named after the famous artist, leader of the world avant-garde style Mark Shagal, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The airplane was supplied in the frame of financial leasing deal dated October 2006 between OAO “Aeroflot” and leading European banks involved in financing of airplanes purchases, like Natixis, Calyn, and ABN Amro Bank. It was supposed to purchase seven BC Airbus A321 on financial leasing for the period of 2006-2007. This was the last airplane in the frame of the deal.

At the present moment the air company owns 33 A 320 airplanes, including 10 A319, 13 A320, 10 A321. Airbuses are designed in two-class compartment and for 116 (А319), 140 (А320) and 170 (А321) passengers seats.

Aeroflot operates airbuses A320 in the wide net of European and Russian routes. Aeroflot is one of the world leaders in terms of reliability and factual flying hours per one airplane.
