OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2007. The largest Japanese air carrier, JAL, is to transfer its flights to Moscow's Domodedovo International Airport on December 14, 2007. JAL will be the 29th foreign airline to operate its flights to the Domodedovo airport, the press service of the enterprise reports.

The passengers and the crew of the first flight from Tokyo will be welcomed at the Domodedovo airport by a group of girls wearing Russian national costumes.

The official ceremony dedicated to the launch of JAL flights to Domodedovo will be attended by: the Executive Vice President of JAL, Mr, Navano, the Ambassador of Japan in Russia, Mr. Saito, and the Director of the Domodedovo airport complex, Mr. Sergey Rudakov.

Schedule flights between Moscow and Tokyo will be operated twice a week using modern Boeing 777 aircraft.
