OREANDA-NEWS. On December 14, 2007 Vostokenergo, first private power generating company in Ukraine that operates under DTEK umbrella completed annual electricity dispatch plan of 16,644m kWh, reported the press-centre of SCM.

As of 1 December, 2007 Luganskaya and Zuevskaya Power Plants of Vostokenergo fulfilled annual electricity dispatch plant of 5,843m kWh and 5,818m kWh respectively. Kurakhovskaya Power Plant of Vostokenergo exceeded the business plan within 11 months of 2007. It produced 6,318m kWh or 105,4% of the scheduled amount of 5,992m kWh. The annual electricity dispatch plan (6,642m kWh) is expected to be exceeded and make almost 7,000m kWh. This is higher than generation figures in 2005 by 2,4 billion kWh , and in 2006 by 0,6 billion kWh.

Aggregate electricity dispatch by Zuevskaya, Kurakhovskaya, and Luganskaya power plants as of 5 December, 2007 totalled 16,644m kWh, i.e. the volume scheduled in the annual business plan.

Higher performance was achieved due to successful repair of blocks under the investment program as well as improvement of technical and economic capacities of run facilities. Professionalism and responsibility of employees that operate and maintain equipment helped reduce the number of emergency shutdowns. Altogether this improved competitiveness of the company on Ukrainian power market.

“Electricity dispatch plan grows annually due to higher technical capacities and new prospects for our company in Ukrainian power sector”, said CEO of Vostokenergo Gennadiy Turanov.

Vostokenergo business-plan for 2006 expected to dispatch electricity at amount of 13,000m kWh. In fact, the company has delivered 16,331m to the power market.
