OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2007. Over 700,000 kroons has been donated during the first nine days of EMT charity campaign ’Christmas Calendar’, reported the press-centre of EMT.

With this campaign, which started on December 1st, EMT customers can support children with hearing disabilities, abandoned animals, Tallinn Children Hospital and orphaned children.

During the first nine days of the campaign, donations are spread rather equally between four areas; slightly more has gone to prematurely born children (Tallinn Children Hospital, keyword ELU) and abandoned animals (animal shelters and volunteer organizations, keyword LOOM).

EMT customers can participate in the charity campaign ’Christmas Calendar’ until December 23rd by sending SMS with keyword chosen (ELU, KURT, LAPS or LOOM) to number 16200. The cost and charity amount of one SMS is 10 kroons.

Campaign motto is: do good and the deed will come back to you! All participants will enter a draw (arranged by EMT and its partners Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony, Dell, HP and Olympus) for prizes with total value of 1,9mln kroons.

EMT arranges the Christmas charity campaign for the fifth time in a row. Total amount raised during the four previous campaigns is 5,7mln kroons.

We would like to thank all donators and wish you good luck with the draw.
