OREANDA-NEWS. On December 17, 2007, a state registration of the new edition of "TAS-INVESTBANK" Bank's Charter took place, according to which the CJSC "TAS-INVESTBANK" Bank changed its name, the bank's press service repoted. Respective changes have been made to the State registry of banks.

From now on the new name of bank in English is:

Full official name: Сlosed Joint Stock Company "Swedbank Invest".

Short official name: Swedbank Invest.

The change of the bank's name in no way does effect its obligations and rights, including contracts, which remain fully effective.

The change of the name is stipulated by the Bank's merger with the Group, which is headed by the Swedbank AB (Sweden, Stockholm).

Founded in 1820, Swedbank is one of the leading Banking Groups in the Northern Europe and Baltics. Market capitalization amounts to around 20 bln., USD. Swedbank has 8,9 mln, private and 579 thousand of corporate customers in the Northern Europe and Baltic's. As of July 9, 2007 this list has been added by Kiev.

CJSC "Swedbank Invest" is a legal successor of CJSC "TAS-INVESTBANK", which in its turn, since 2001 is a legal successor of AKB "Societe General Ukraine" (due to renaming), and since 1996 operating on the market of Banking services. Presently the Bank has two locations of the head office in Kiev, operating 7 branches in Kiev and in the region (Vyshgorod) as well as three regional branches in the cities of: Odessa, Chernovtsy, and Dnepropetrovsk. An international rating agency Moody's has awarded to the CJSC "TAS-INVESTBANK" a long term rating В2.
