OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2007. The JSC “NORVIK BANKA” has signed a syndicated loan facility agreement for 22 million euros with a tenor of one year. This is an extension of a syndicated loan agreement that was signed in June 2006, reported the press-centre of NORVIK BANKA.

Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG (Austria) and Kaupthing Bank Luxembourg S.A. (Luxemburg) acted as the Mandated Lead Arrangers.

In total there are 11 banks from 7 countries participating in the facility.

“We are satisfied that we have successfully refinanced our previous loan on good terms in spite of the currently difficult market situation. This is the fourth syndicated loan agreement concluded by NORVIK BANKA during a one and a half year period, which may be regarded as a clear evidence of growing investor confidence and recognition of the Bank by the international financial community”, emphasizes Valentina Keisha, a member of the Board of NORVIK BANKA.

The loan will be used for further strenghtening of the Bank’s positions in Latvia as well as in the international financial markets.
