OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2007. Krka received three first prizes for its products Enap, Septolete and Pikovit at the international brand festival in Kazakhstan, the press center of the company reported. The competition is organised on five markets of the former Soviet Union, and since 2000 it has been regularly held in Kazakhstan. This year the main jury awarded three Krka's products, each in its own category with the best prize for 2007. Enap has been announced as the most recognised medicine for the treatment of high blood pressure, Septolete as the best medicine for sore throat, and, Pikovit as the best vitamin product for children in 2007 in Kazakhstan.

The competition begins with a preliminary selection of candidates that are named by representative public groups from several cities around Kazakhstan and by an expert jury. Analyses of individual brands are also part of the selection criteria. The opinions are written down and submitted to the main jury. Members of the main jury are experts from various fields, representatives of various private and state organisations, public associations and important individuals.

The aim of the festivals is not only to make a careful choice among the nominees but also to inform the target consumer groups about the award-winning products.
