The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PR-433 "On additional measures for the development of the system of non-cash payments based on plastic cards" of 3 August 2006 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 445 "On measures for further development of the system of payments based on plastic cards" of 24 September 2004 are important steps on the way to developing non-cash payments.

Galla Bank has implemented large-scale work to popularize the instrument of non-cash payments. The number of cards issued by the bank exceeded 82,000 as of 1 November 2007, the press service of the bank's reports. To expand their use, the branches of the bank have installed 700 terminals in different trade points.

Galla Bank includes 32 branches, 80 mini banks, 160 savings banks, 69 exchange points, and 9 money transfer points.

The bank was founded in 1994. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 20 June 1994 No. 311 the main task of the bank is to service business entities engaged in the growing of grains and other crops at the international level, attract foreign investors, high technology and assist the expansion of the export of grains and flour stocked up. Galla Bank takes an active part in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country.
