OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2007.  M.Video, the retail electronics hypermarket chain and the first public company in its sector, opened 10 new hypermarkets in October and November of this year.

The 10 new stores opened in Moscow, Barnaul, Lipetsk, Kostroma, Kemerovo, Tyumen, Stavropol, Astrakhan, Novosibirsk and Rostov-on-Don. M.Video currently operates 113 electronics hypermarkets, and the company's total retail store space exedes over 300,000 square meters.

The opening of M.Video's first stores in Kostroma, Kemerovo and Astrakhan mean that M.Video is now present in 41 cities.

The new hypermarkets - as with all M.Video stores - provide customers with professional advice and reliable guaranties for all products as well as home and office delivery, installation and a wide variety of maintenance services. M.Video's range of products includes over 20,000 items of home appliances and electronics as well as about 7,000 media storage items - a total of 1,200 commodity groups.

"Increasing the number of M.Video electronics stores in Russian cities is the foundation of our strategy. In particular, the company is interested in strengthening its positions in the most dynamic Russian regions such as the Southern Federal District and Siberia", M.Video Commercial Director Michael Kuchment said.
