The preparation for the major scientific event in the company the is dine by the young power engineering specialists throughout the year on ongoing basis. This is the specific of the conference of the power holding, demonstrating its practical value – many of production projects and innovative suggestions are utilized in the companies or will be utilized later.

The attendants had to pass the 2 first stages of the conference: inside the division and further on the level of the company in the JSC "Generation Company", JSC "Grid Company", JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company", JSC "RDU Tatenergo" and Head Quarters of "Tatenergo". For evaluating the reports at each level of the conference were instituted the expert commissions from managers, leading specialists of "Tatenergo" holding and faculty of Kazan State Power Engineering University. In total over 200 reports were proposed for examination. For the general system level were presented only 14 most important and efficient works.

Besides the conference was attended by the students and young researchers from the Kazan State Power Engineering University. Of them 3 reports took part in research debates of the power engineering specialists, that had previously won in the university level.

As a result the best report was named the one by the programmer of the branch of JSC "Tatenergo" "Tataisenergo" Dilbar Abdrahimov with thesis "Forecast of Electricity Consumption", demonstrating the program of the hourly planning of consumption of electricity by the companies. Since September 2006 in the power system was effected the transition to operation under conditions of the new model of the wholesale market of electricity. Because of which the necessity to develop such program was entrusted to the report author.

The second place took the senior engineer of JSC "RDU Tatenergo" Vitali Basarkin for report "Solving the Tasks of CHP Engagement for the Loads of the Power Region and the Own Needs During the System Accidents on Base of Modern Soft- and Hardware". Application of this automatics would promote the considerable reduction of damage from the shutdowns in the power systems during the emergencies related to frequency reduction or power deficiency.

Third place the expert commission awarded to the engineer of the shop for thermal automatics and measuring Ms. Clara Abdurahmanova for report "Frequency and Power (SАRCHМ) adjusting system adaptation to double- blocks 200 МW at Zainsk Condensation Plant".

Some encouraging awards were given to maxi Tarasov, electrician of Kazan CHP-3 (for report "Control over State of Insulation of Electrical Machine Stator Regarding the Level of Partial Discharges"), Arthur Gayazutdinov, economist for JSC "Generation Company" (for report "Computerized Calculation of Business and Economical Figures in Organization Activity") and Adila Mirsiyapova, legal adviser for the Head Quarters of JSC "Tatenergo" (for report "Legal Risks Associated with Anti-Monopoly Regulation regarding the Subject of True Monopoly").
