OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2007. The Moscow to Beijing train is a fast service leaving Moscow once a week from the capital’s Yaroslavl Station and reaching Beijing 145 hours later. At 8,961 km, its route is the longest of all international trains, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The service also includes a direct through coach to Pyongyang. This route is in the Guiness Book of Records as the longest covered by one train since the distance between Moscow and Pyongyang is over 10,309 km.

All information about the timetable, stops and regulations are available in two languages, and the Moscow conductors have undergone intensive Chinese courses.
