OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2007. During 2007, the network of regional offices operated by Absolut Bank was expanded to 72 points of sale in 24 regions across the country, which is double the number of offices the bank had just a year before, reported the press-centre of Absolut Bank.

In 2006, it boasted 38 offices in 11 regions of Russia. In the past year, the bank continuously took aggressive efforts to strengthen its positions in the regions where it already had presence, supporting this drive by entering 13 administrative regions where it had no operations before.

As of January 1, 2008, Absolut Bank was represented in Russia by ten branches offering a full range of banking products in the largest regions of Russia.

The bank started to actively grow its branch network virtually at the same time as it launched its retail operations, by opening in 2005 its first branch office in Saint Petersburg and several offices in the Moscow Region. Absolut Bank’s regional business policy is geared towards long-term partnerships and maintenance of mutually beneficial cooperation links.

During 2007, the Bank for the first time in its history entered the financial markets of the Nizhny Novgorod, the Novosibirsk, the Kemerovo, the Rostov, the Lipetsk, the Volgograd, the Orenburg, the Voronezh, and the Saratov Oblasts (Regions), and the Altai, the Krasnodar, the Krasnoyarsk, and the Stavropol Krais (Territories).

In 2008, Absolut Bank will continue its aggressive strategy of expanding its branch network, consolidating its positions in each of the regions where it currently has presence and launching new offices. Absolut Bank to increase the number of branches to around 130 in most by the end of 2010.
