OREANDA-NEWS. On January 31, 2008."Irkut" Corporation participated in the Moscow International forum and expo "UVS-TECH 2008", taking place within 29-31 Jan 2008 in the "Expocenter".

The objective of this second expo is to facilitate cooperation between the fuel/energy industry, Russian and foreign manufacturers of the aerospace equipment, state agencies while developing and operating unmanned multipurpose complexes including those based on the UAVs. 

Expo and forum boasts over 40 participants from Russia, Ukraine, France and Israel: designers and manufacturers of the unmanned equipment, systems of control, navigation, communication and special-purpose equipment.

"Irkut" Corporation showcases its products at the booth №5233 (Hall 5, room 2): first of all, aerial remote sensing systems based on the piloted, both piloted and unmanned, and unmanned aerial vehicles including "Irkut-2М", "Irkut-10", "Irkut-850", "Irkut-DA42" (joint development with Diamond  Aircraft  Industries  GmbH,  Austria). The number of projects of Corporation is performed in cooperation with the foreign partners from Germany, Italy, and Israel.

In the center of the display you can see the poster with the integrated data system developed jointly with the JSC "GAZCOM". This system provides acquisition, distribution, procession, storage and satellite transmission of TV, IR, photo and radar images of industrial objects (pipelines, pump houses, distribution substations, processing plants, etc.). The system also envisages interaction with other technical means of monitoring, e.g. remote laser methane indicators.

Integrated data system comprises of the following:
- aerial remote sensing systems based on piloted, piloted/unmanned and unmanned vehicles;
  - ground-based data acquisition and procession units;
  - satellite system of real-time data transmission.

Trial operation of the Integrated data system elements for JSC “Gazprom” and other potential Russian customers is planned for 2008.

"Irkut" Corporation has fulfilled a number of state orders on unmanned aerial complexes’ development and delivery. In 2007 Russian EMERCOM has inducted the "Irkut-1А" aerial monitoring system. Trial operations of "Irkut-850", "Irkut-2М" at JSC “Gazprom” facilities has been carried out, including satellite images transmission.
