OREANDA-NEWS.  On 4 February 2008 was announced, that  Vladislav Soloviev has been appointed CEO of EN+, a holding which unites the energy, coal, oil and aluminum businesses of Basic Element.
 
For the last seven years, Vladislav Soloviev has been Finance Director at UC RUSAL with responsibility for financial planning systems and auditing, implementing major investment projects and carrying out mergers and acquisitions. He also chaired the Boards of Directors of the Aluminum, Alumina and Packing Divisions and oversaw the implementation of SAP R/3 and the development of effective management systems.
 
In his new post, Vladislav will be responsible for general strategy at En+ and finding and evaluating investment opportunities in the energy, oil and metallurgical sectors. His main task will be to increase the value of the Company and further improve corporate governance. Vladislav will also be on the Board of Directors of UC RUSAL.
 
Biography
Vladislav Soloviev was head of the Finance Department of the United Company from its foundation in March 2007. Prior to being appointed head of the Finance Department at RUSAL in February 2001, Vladislav worked as director of RUSAL’s Accounting Department. Before joining RUSAL, he spent two years as Deputy Director of the Department of Tax policy and Tax Legislation Improvement and Adviser to the Minister for Taxes and Tax Collection. From 1994 until 1998, he held various senior positions at UNICON/MS Consulting, where he was responsible for auditing oil and gas companies. 
 
Vladislav was born in 1973. In 1995, he graduated with distinction from the Higher School of the State Academy of Management and in 1996 from the STANKIN Moscow State Technical University. In 2004, he completed studies at the Finance Academy of the Government of the Russian Federation and gained an MBA from the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
