OREANDA-NEWS. February 5, 2008. New top managers of Sovcomflot were introduced to the company’s Executive Board by the President and CEO Mr. Sergey Frank.

Yury Aleksandrovich TSVETKOV – Vice-President & Head of Risk Management and Internal Control Department of JSC “Sovcomflot” who will supervise internal auditing of financial and administrative activities of the Group;

Mikhail Ivanovich SUSLIN – Advisor to the President & CEO, who will be in charge of co-ordination of safety of navigation matters relatated to the Group’s fleet operation.

Speaking on new appointments, Sergey Frank noted the high professional level of new managers and their broad practical experience in maritime shipping, “which will by all means be useful both for further improvement of management system, enhancement of corporate procedures transparency in JSC “Sovcomflot” in accordance with the Code of Corporate Governance, as approved by the Board of Directors, and for maintaining the level of compliance of the fleet technical operation with the highest standards and growing requirements in the safety of navigation area”.

Yury Aleksandrovich TSVETKOV

Born in Novgorod on 7 July 1965.
Yury Tsvetkov graduated from the Leningrad Higher Engineering Academy named after Admiral Makarov as a qualified navigational officer in 1988.
1997-2002: studied at the Academy of National Economy at the Government of the Russian Federation.

1988-1993: started as the 4th Mate and then the 2nd Mate on board the vessels of the Baltic Shipping Company.
1993-1996: Industrial Enterprise “Kvant” – Commercial Director, Head of Commercial Centre.
1996-2008: The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation – Head of Inspection, Federal Budget Expenditures for Transport, Roads Infrastructure, Communications and Information Technologies.
January 2008: Vice-President & Head of Risk Management and Internal Control Department of JSC “Sovcomflot”.
Yu. Tsvetkov was awarded the medal “300 Years of the Russian Fleet”, by the honorary medal “Loyal Service in the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation” III Grade, by the honorary diploma of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Mikhail Ivanovich SUSLIN

Born in the village of Bakshandino, Pilninskiy Region of the Gorkiy Region on 6 November 1946.
Mikhail Suslin graduated from the Leningrad Navigational College in 1968 and from the Leningrad Higher Engineering Academy named after Admiral Makarov as a qualified navigational officer in 1979.

1968-1993: started as an able seaman and then Captain-Instructor of the Safety of Navigation Department, upgraded to the position of the Deputy Head, the Northern Shipping Company.
1993-2000: JSC “The Northern Shipping Company” – Vice-President, Executive Director for Navigation.
2000-2001: The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – Head of Safety of Navigation Department.
2001-2002: Head of the Maritime Administration of the Port of Novorossiysk.
2002-2004: The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – Head of Safety of Navigation Department.
2004-2006: The Federal Service on Supervision in Transport Sector – Head of the Department of Maritime and River Transport Supervision, Deputy Head of the Service.
2006-2008: Advisor to the Director General of the FSUE “Rosmorport”.
January 2008: Advisor to the President & CEO of JSC “Sovcomflot”.
