OREANDA-NEWS. On 5 February 2008 ARMADA has been named The Best Company/ Issuer among Innovative and Growth Companies. The award was established by the MICEX Stock Exchange as part of the Best Russian Enterprises competition organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).

We are happy that the IT sector is getting increasing attention in Russia, as its development is key to promoting an innovative economy in the country. We will do our best to continue expanding our business, strengthen our financial performance, while remaining transparent and open for the market,'' Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARMADA Dmitry Belik said.

RSPP is an all-Russian organization that promotes the interests of business in Russia. RSPP has been holding the annual Best Russian Enterprises competition since 1997, identifying the most successful companies and attracting investors’ attention to them. Award winners are chosen on the basis of a methodology developed by the RSPP Expert Institute and approved by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia. The jury is comprised of representatives of executive and legislative authorities, non-profit organizations and the corporate sector.

This year the award ceremony was held for the 11th time. Some 2,500 enterprises from all of Russia's regions were nominated in the previous year's 10th competition, and companies representing eleven different industries were announced as award winners. More than 800 enterprises have won the award since the competition was launched.
