OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2007. The office of the General Manager of Nordea Bank Lithuania, belonging to Nordea – the largest financial group in the Nordic and Baltic countries, will be held by Inga Skisaker-Kinduriene, the Executive Director of Nordea Bank Lithuania. She substituted Steen Trondhjem Nielsen who occupied this post since May 2004, reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

“As I have joined Nordea team during the period of perhaps the most rapid growth and development of  Nordea Bank Lithuania, I understand how responsible is the mission falling upon the leader at such time.

This mission becomes easier because of professionals working for the Bank who have common understanding of the relevance of team-work and of Nordea capabilities, while being able to offer the best solutions to each customer. Development of the Bank will not stop this year. Nordea Bank Lietuva will offer new products to private and corporate customers who will benefit from extended opportunities of operation in the markets of commodities and securities and will increase the number of its subdivisions set up in Lithuanian cities”, - said I.Skisaker-Kinduriene.

In 1996-2002, I.Skisaker worked as the manager of Baltic Fund Securities, a subsidiary of Baltic Fund ILP, USA Investment Fund. In 1999–2000 she was a board member of the Company Rokiskio suris, in 2004– 2006 managed the retail network Rimi Lietuva, and also was a board member of Investors Forum and a council member of the Association of Lithuanian Trade Enterprises. Since June 2006, I.Skisaker was responsible for the development of Nordea Bank Lithuania.

S.T.Nielsen continues working with Nordea group.

In addition, Nordea is successfully developing its business in Lithuania in specific business areas and rapidly expanding its regional network. To this end the Bank needs a professional with good understanding of specifics of the Capital as well as of other cities of the country. Experience of Inga in running one of the largest retail networks is an advantage which can be very beneficial to the Bank”, - explained S.T.Nielsen. 

In 2007, Nordea Bank Lietuva profit before audit amounted to LTL 19,101 million. Assets of the Bank augmented by 73,3% to LTL 5,629 billion, and its loan portfolio reached LTL 4,338 billion manifesting annual growth of 77%. Amount of deposits held with the Bank went up by 26,2% and accounted for LTL 1,088 billion.
