OREANDA-NEWS. On February 06, 2007 As a result of the railway workers’ strike in Hungary, Russian Railways made changes to its international passenger services, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

All changes to the train timetables will be announced and displayed at railway stations and ticket offices selling long-distance tickets. Passengers can return their travel documents without any deduction of commission.

For the duration of the strike, straight-through coaches on the routes from Moscow to Belgrade, Budapest, Zagreb and Venice on branded Train No15/16 Tissa from Moscow to Uzhgorod will terminate at Chop station.

According to an agreement between Russian Railways, representatives of Hungarian railways and Hungarian railway unions, coaches from Budapest to Moscow, Zagreb to Moscow and Belgrade to Moscow, have crossed the Hungarian border, and together with coaches Moscow to Belgrade, Moscow to Budapest, Moscow to Moscow and Zagreb to Venice (going to Europe) now at Chop station, will depart for Moscow on February 6 in accordance with the timetable as part of the branded train Tissa.
