OREANDA-NEWS. On February 08, 2007 the traffic of trains to Europe across the Transcarpathian city of Chop (West Ukraine), which was suspended because of the Hungarian railway workers' strike, has been resumed in a full volume, the Lviv Railways reported.

The strike finished, and train traffic across the Ukraine - Hungary border returned to its routine schedule.

As a result of the strike, passenger trains from Ukraine and Russia, which were running to different countries of Europe across Hungary, could just reach Chop.

Freight trains were let through.
