OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2007. Troika Dialog's "The Russia Forum" was the largest investor event ever organized in Moscow. Bank Vozrozhdenie participated along with other major public Russian companies in Moscow Gostiny Dvor convention centre, reported the press-centre of Bank Vozrozhdenie.

"The Russia Forum" is a new platform created to discuss the investment future of the country and to understand trends for the coming financial year. The main objective of the conference is to allow effective communication between the investment community, Russian business and state institutions. It also provides a forum discussion of the role of Russia in the global economy.
More than 1600 representatives of international investment companies and Russian businesses, politicians and main public figures participated in the Forum. The main discussion topics were global economic challenges, international market turmoil and developments in emerging markets and the influence of these trends on Russian business, as well as trends and expected developments in the domestic economy.

Nikolai Orlov, nominee director, and former vice-president of the management board of Bank Vozrozhdenie, participated in the Forum. "I consider that events like "The Russia Forum" to be very important for the improvement of Russia's image. It contributes to a more objective, and therefore positive, opinion of the Russian economy and its businesses. Being a publicly traded bank with many foreign shareholders, we know how important it is to have effective and long-term dialog with the international investment community."
