OREANDA-NEWS. On February 13, 2007 the Economy Ministry started issuing licenses for grain export at 1,2 tons of quotas, President of the Ukrainian Grain Association Volodymyr Klymenko said, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

Ukraine suspended grain shipping in July 2007 to abroad due to introduced grin export.

The government set quotas for grain export at 12,000 tons on July 1, 2007, which were rejected by grain associations of Ukraine.

In November 2007 the Cabinet of Ministers resolved to prolong the quotas to 2007's close and allowed export of 1,2 M. tons of grain. The quotas were divided among 163 companies on February 4, 2008.
