OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2008. GRASYS has supplied on a contractual basis the MA-1.2-95-1000 mobile nitrogen station for Tumentransgaz LLC, a subsidiary of OJSC Gazprom. The supplied station is designated for equipment purging and provision of fire safety at Tayezhnaya Compressor Station.

Incorporating the innovative design solutions, the MA-1.2-95-1000 stations combine compact dimensions and high production capacity with reliability, ease of maintenance and operation. The stations operating temperature range is between −50°C and +50°C. Due to the enhanced performance characteristics GRASYS MA series stations were recommended for manufacture and adoption at all OJSC Gazprom facilities. Specifically, the MA stations are recommended for use at compressor stations, booster compressor stations and underground gas storage facilities for pipelines purging, impulse gas drying and generation, long-term storage and other applications.

This nitrogen station allows producing 95% gaseous nitrogen from atmospheric air at 1,000 nmі per hour. During operation, the purity of product nitrogen may easily be adjusted for its maximum cost effectiveness. By the nitrogen station manufacture, the most advanced membrane air separation technology was used.

The MA series of nitrogen stations includes nitrogen equipment with various technical characteristics selected to optimally match operating company requirements. The capacity of stations ranges between 100 and 5,000 nmі per hour, and nitrogen purity — between 90 and 99.5%, with outlet gas pressure reaching 400 atm. GRASYS nitrogen stations are characterized by exceptional reliability proved by operation in the Far North and Siberia regions.

Strengthening its presence in the international market, GRASYS is currently one of the largest and most reputable companies in the field of gas separation. GRASYS is among the world leading manufacturers of membrane and adsorption units for nitrogen and xygen production, hydrogen concentration, gas mix control and etc.
