OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2008. The Government of Belarus issued Resolution No181 to approve the volume of supplies of mineral fertilizers for the domestic agricultural industry and export quotas in 2008, reported the Official website www.government.by.

This year the agricultural industry will get 648 thousand tonnes of potash fertilizers, 550 thousand tonnes of nitrogen and 162 thousand tonnes of phosphoric fertilizers. The Belneftekhim concern has been charged to see to it that the agricultural companies are supplied with mineral fertilizers first thing.

In line with the agreement, the 2008 exports quotas are 4.32 million tonnes of potash fertilizers, 209.8 thousand ones of nitrogen fertilizers (including 100 thousand tonnes of carbamide), 20 thousand tonnes of phosphoric fertilizers. The Trade Ministry is to issue general licenses for export quotas to the Production Association Belaruskali, Gomel chemicals plant, Grodno Azot and Polymir companies.
