Kvazar-Micro Completed Implementation of ERP-System
OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2008. Kvazar-Micro Company, the leading solution provider in the Eastern Europe and CIS countries, announced that the project of implementation of ERP-system on the basis of Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS) in the OJSC ROSNO insurance company (Moscow) has been successfully completed. In the course of the project implementation, Kvazar-Micro managed to expand the functionality of OEBS system and integrated it with the other software complexes, used by ROSNO Company, reported the press-centre of Kvazar-Micro.
The choice of platform and architecture of the solution has been significantly influenced by a complex branched structure of OJSC ROSNO and a number of various business processes, which characterize the activity of the large insurance company today. The solution of a wide range of tasks, concerned with these peculiarities of insurance business has become the key factor of the project’s successful implementation.
At present, the implemented system covers 200 users and more than 200 types of various operations. The ERP-system includes such processes as accounting of the payment settlement with debtors and creditors, treasury management, purchasing management etc. The customer has also received the management system of internal business activities in terms of the treasury management. Moreover, in the course of the implementation, the management accounting system, aimed at optimizating expenses control has been created.
An integration of the ERP-system into the common software environment, used in the OJSC ROSNO information systems, has become a distinctive feature of the project. In particular, the interaction interfaces between the ERP-system, the insurance activity accounting program of “KIS”, and the “INFIN” program, used for the creation of accounting in compliance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), have been implemented.
“We have managed to achieve a very positive result, which will benefit our company,” states Artem Natrusov, CIO of OJSC ROSNO . “The extension of the ERP-system functionality made it possible to optimize a number of internal processes of the company and have a more effective and high-quality accounting.”
