OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2008. The toll-free hotline number of DnB NORD Banka 8008005 was changed over to eight-digit numbering system by appending an O after the third digit, i.e. 80008005, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Banka.

Change over to eight-digit numbering system took place simultaneously with relevant changes in other toll-free service numbers. Henceforth, when dialing a number 80x xxxx, an O after the third digit must be appended to all telephone numbers. 

Free of charge change of the telephone numbers was ensured by SIA Lattelecom.

Proceeding to eight-digits numbering system is stipulated in the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 893 "Regulations of the procedure and deadlines to change over to the closed eight-digits numbering system" dated 22 November 2005.
