The Chairman of the Board of the insurance company ATF Polis Mr. Maxim Abuzdin has introduced the strategic dialogue participants to his company’s development strategy for the years 2008-2009, describing the company’s development prospects and its position in the insurance market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A general analysis of the Kazakh insurance market was also provided. Kazakhstan ranks third among CIS countries by size of economy. The Kazakh market offers gigantic opportunities thanks to the extremely rapid economic development in recent years, huge growth potential, and the combination of intensively developing financial services market with the low share of these services in the country’s GDP.

The major strategic objectives adopted by ATF Polis for 2008-2009 include: introduction of new business standards, new quality standards, and new management system, corresponding to the standards effective within Allianz SE and subject to the Kazakh market specifics.
