OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) recognized that advertising of the "Technosila" brand in August 2006 года on the streets of Moscow and on TV channels - NTV and TNT, using the "Technosila" trade mark (the advertiser - "Spektr" Ltd.) was improper and in breach of Clause 4 Part 4 Article 5 of the Federal Law "On Advertising", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The advertisement showed various goods of a particular price, accompanies by a text with a man's name and the expression "... easy touch! He paid higher price" ("Sanyok easy touch! He paid higher price", "Andryukha easy touch! He paid higher price!" etc.).

Taking into account the findings of a consumer survey regarding their attitude to the advertisement in question, as well as the position of the Expert Council on Enforcement of the Advertising Legislation, FAS Russia recognized that the advertisement was improper and breached Clause 4 Part 4 Article 5 of the Federal Law "On Advertising" as it shapes adverse attitude towards the persons who do not use the advertised goods.

The Antimonopoly Authority issued a determination to the advertiser - "Spektr" Ltd., requesting it to stop violations of the advertising legislation of the Russian Federation.
