OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2008.  The Management Board of the International Pipeline Company “SARMATIA”with its registered seat in Warsaw, Poland, issued an open request for proposals to take part in the tender for the preparation of „The Feasibility Study of the Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor Project”. The energy companies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland and Ukraine expressed their interest in drawing up the feasibility study for the creation of a commercially attractive corridor for the transportation of hydrocarbons from the Caspian Sea region to the international markets running through the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and the Republic of Poland. Based on results of the feasibility study the parties will carry on the further steps in order to establish the aforementioned corridor, which is crucial for the diversification, safety and security of crude oil supplies. The deadline for participation is March 18, 2008, 10 a.m. by Warsaw time. The envelopes will be opened on March 18, at 12:00.
