OREANDA-NEWS. On February 28, 2008 Mobile services operator life:) announced its financial and operational results of 2007 that give strong evidence of the company’s dynamic growth. Last year life:) demonstrated the growth of its revenue by 191%, reported the press-centre of life:).

For life:) the year 2007 became a year of significant and extensive growth of all its operational and financial indicators. For only the first 6 months of 2007 the company reached revenue level which is 12% higher than the 2006 annual revenue result. The total 2007 life:) revenue grew by 191% compared to 2006. Besides, life:) recorded first positive EBITDA far ahead of its business plans – in the third quarter ($2,9 mln.) and in the fourth quarter ($2,7 mln) and decreased the annual negative EBITDA by 76% compared with 2006 year.   

By the end of 2007, the total number of life:) subscribers reached 8,8 million with 57,1% of growth on annual basis. This dynamic growth made life:) a market leader in net acquisition during 8 months of the year leaving behind all other operators. In 2007 life:) grew its 3-month active subscriber base by 74,2% on annual basis and average revenue per user (ARPU) – by 68,4% during the year.

life:) General Director, Tansu Yegen commented: “The year 2007 became a turning point in the history of our company as it leveraged our business to a totally new level of financial and operational successes. All this happened despite a growing competition and saturation of the mobile market of Ukraine.
