OREANDA-NEWS. March 3, 2008. Telsey, a global leading provider of IPTV and broadband network equipment, has opened its office in Moscow. Telsey’s president, Andrea Bosio, held a press conference dedicated to the presentation of the Moscow office and a partnership agreement signed with Verysell Distribution.

Dmitry Makhnachev was appointed to the position of Telsey’s Country Manager in Russia. According to Mr. Makhnachev, the primary goal of the Russian office is to familiarize Russian clients and end-users with the superior quality of cutting-edge communication technologies being used by the leading European service providers. The company is willing to demonstrate the advantages of IP access gateways, multimedia stations and FTTx / xDSL home networking solutions, and the cutting-edge technologies for Triple Play and IPTV, including HDTV.

Telsey will also address other successfully cultivated market segments. For example, the company will introduce broadband Internet services, VoIP communication, high-quality wireless access, data transfer via electric networks, and other innovative solutions for Russian end-users.

During the press conference, Miodrag Sundic, Managing Director of Telsey CEE, and Barbara Adami Lami, Executive Vice President, described the company’s plans for the next few years. They stressed that Verysell Distribution, the only Telsey distributor as of today, should be able to forcefully promote a broad range of Telsey products to the Russian IT market.

Christo Karakashev, Vice President of Verysell Group of Companies on distribution and regional development,  thinks highly of the future prospects of the new vendor in Russia. According to Mr.Karakashev, the technologies being offered by Telsey are exceedingly popular in Europe but are yet almost unheard of in Russia. “Telecommunications are a high priority for Russian market, so we focus on telecommunications, and we foresee great prospects for cooperation with Telsey and for successful business growth on Russian market.”
