OREANDA-NEWS. March 4, 2008. In January-February 2008, Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC handled 58,320 TEU (+13%, year-on-year), the company’s press center reports. In the reported period the terminal handled 22,819 TEU of export containers (+39%, year-on-year). Transshipment of import containers grew by 5% to 33,703 TEU, coastal trade containers – fell by 77% to 1,616 TEU, transit – fell by 83% to 182 TEU.

In February 2008, the company’s  throughput totaled 27,529 TEU (+24%). Export grew by 42% to 9,202 TEU, import – by 17% to 17,415 TEU.

Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC is the largest container terminal in the Far East of Russia. It operates at the territory of Vostochny port. The company is co-managed by port operator DPW and N-Trans Group.
