OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 March 2008 was announced, that Mos City Group (MCG) owned by Pavel Fuks plans to build a mixed-use complex with the area of several hundred square metres on a place of Aerostar hotel bought out recently and Aerovokzal on Leningradsky Avenue, Kommersant reported.

According to the daily, Aerostar hotel on 37 Leningradsky Avenue has been being closed for more than 3 years because of a dispute between Aviacity, owner of the hotel, and the tenant company Aeroimp co-owned by Aeroflot. Today all claims on ownership of Aerostar have been settled. LLC Aeroplaza, subsidiary of MCG, has become the owner of JSC Aviacity and LLC Aeroimp having reconciling the dispute between them.

MCG intends to open the hotel by the summer 2008, however, it will operate not for long. A mini-city is to be put up on the 14-hectare area occupied by it and Aerovokzal, the edition said.

Kommersant added with reference to Pavel Fuks, chairman of board of directors of MCG, that a concept of the project was being worked out at the time. A tender involved 14 international architects will be held anon.
